Growing Lachlan will be working in partnership with Regional Development Australia, Lachlan Shire Council, Lower Lachlan Community Services Inc and NSW business chambers. While these valuable, capacity-building and networking business events are increasingly common in larger regional centres, Growing Lachlan Alliance has identified a considerable gap and need in Western NSW for similar capacity building business opportunities. The event will promote the Lachlan Shire region as a place to live and work in.
MAKING IT WORK FOR BUSINESSES & PROFESSIONALS
REMOTE WORKING FORUMS - COMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU
Businesses in regional Australia often find their biggest barrier to growth (or survival!) is access to skilled employees. At the same time, there is an abundance of professionals living all over Australia who possess qualifications, skills and experience, but much of this talent is sitting idle or underutilised.
Our Remote Working Forums aim to build confidence in both businesses owners and professionals to consider remote work as an option for business growth and employment. They provide an insight into working and employing remotely and demonstrations of the technology that is available to do so.
If you are an Economic Development Officer at a regional Council, part of a local Business Chamber or regional coworking space and are interested in a Remote Work Forum in your town, get in touch here.
