As tempting as it is to block out your time and immerse yourself totally in your work when you get chance (like when the kids are at school, you have an urgent deadline coming up and so on…) remember to schedule in regular breaks to move your body.
Your eyes also need a break so even if it is only for 5 minutes at a time, stop what you are doing and get out of your chair. Rest your eyes by looking away from screens or small print and have a drink of water.
Your productivity depends on your health so take care of your body!
